OUR FIELDS OF EXPERTISE

DANCE

Dance is the art that imprints on the soul. At DPS, we believe that children should dance to the music in their hearts. It is with the learner every moment and expresses itself in the most creative ways possible. Dance classes are offered to students one period a week as part of the regular timetable. Students participate in all dance forms for all events and competitions of the school.

MUSIC

It is said that music is life itself. Where words fail, music speaks. At DPS, music classes assume much importance. The school has dedicated music teachers for every level of the school. No programme or assembly of the school is done without the involvement of music. Music classes are offered to students one period a week as part of the regular timetable.

ART

NEP 2020 recommends Art integration as a cross-curricular pedagogical approach that utilizes various aspects and forms of Art & Culture as the basis for learning of concepts across subjects. Art helps in removing the silos between various disciplines and adopting a holistic approach in school curriculum. Art has the power to transform, to illuminate, to educate, to inspire and to motivate. Music classes are offered to students one period a week as part of the regular timetable.
